Mini Clipboard

Hello everyone,

I have a new one for you this week. I participated in a swap on the ning site myscraproom.ning.  Carlene the pink scrapper was the host. The rules were to use a mini clipboard and to use only pink and white.  So, without further ado here it is:

Here is a picture of the clipboard in it's entirety.

The fanning of the lace at the top was my way of making up for the fact that I was unable to find  a mini clipboard with a clip.

Her is a better view of the bottom corner.

The quote here says: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.   I am currently working on my layering  skills.

I recently recieved a small RAK from a friend and this large clear diamond shape was in it.

I loved the idea of stuffing stuff under a folded up corner.

The instructions were to paint to back of the clipboard. I thought it would be better to paint it them make an x-tra large tag and put my information on it.

I LOVE this lace heart witch I got from Cheep trims.

I really love this paper and have yet to actually make a mini with it. I don't know what I am waiting for exactly, but I really want to make an amazing mini with it.

The lace flower was from a website called cheep trims.

I got a large box of bling from etsy last year It had the most amazing collection of broaches and bling.

Here is a close up of the tiny little bottle with pink glitter.

I hope you enjoy.  I am thinking about adding more tutorials to my blog. What would you like to see??
Have a wonderfuly crafty day.

Forktastic

A while back a friend of mine challenged me to do something creative with a fork after seeing my fork bracelet. So, I waited till the next time we were going to get together to craft and here is what I created. Let me know what you think.

 Presentation is everything right?

I heated the fork over my stove for quite a while to be able to manipulate it just the shape I wanted.

The spool is one I got from Hobby lobby and used antique medium to age it. I got the bling from ETSY. The flower is from I Am Roses. The crochet flower is from Cheep trims. The trim is Maya Road. The chipboard letters are from my chipboard drawer (so, no telling).

Here is the handle of the fork. I just love polka dots. BTW the story of how Polka Dots came about is really interesting you should check it out some time. I just love this bling. It was a wonderful investment.

Here is the back of the fork though in this context it is actually the bottom of my project.

Here you can see the Tines of the fork have been curled to help hold the decorations and to provide a pleasing view. :)  BTW embroidery floss works really well on these mini spools.
So, the next time you see a fork for free or close to please pick it and consider giving it a beautiful new lease on life.
Till next time happy crafty!!

Halloween Mini :)

I decided to sign up for a swap where we had to use file folders for a Halloween mini. I really like the way it came out.

Here is a view from the top looking down at it.

I love the gem being in the belly of the skeleton. Almost as if he took his treasure to the grave.

This my first duct tape spine. I love the trim on the spine here.

I can not tell you how good it feels to make a waterfall picture holder and it not look like a drunken sailor path. LOL I am the worst about trying to make a strait line of ANY thing.

The candelabra is a CTMH felt sticker set. I love the cream and black/brown paper with the splashes of color from last years paper line.
How cute is that raven? It is a felt sticker set from CTMH.

I mixed two paper lines for this mini. One was a Mambi Halloween from last year and the other was the Mambi for this year.
I hope you make a file folder album for yourself. If you PLEASE leave a link for me to see it. :)
Have a scraptastic day!!

Tussie Mussie

This  is my first tussie mussie. I made it for a swap on krazy crafty creations, but loved it so much I made a second one to send to my swap partner.

I love, love how the big gem hangs at the bottom from that hook.

Here is a better look at it.

The back of the tag has all of my information. :)

Here is the back of the tussie. I love the pearls it looks like it was buttoned up.

I just love the way that it came out.

I have wanted to decorate a spool for quite some time now, so I was looking around the internet and I saw a bunch of great pics to inspire me. Here is what I came up with.
