Forktastic

A while back a friend of mine challenged me to do something creative with a fork after seeing my fork bracelet. So, I waited till the next time we were going to get together to craft and here is what I created. Let me know what you think.

 Presentation is everything right?

I heated the fork over my stove for quite a while to be able to manipulate it just the shape I wanted.

The spool is one I got from Hobby lobby and used antique medium to age it. I got the bling from ETSY. The flower is from I Am Roses. The crochet flower is from Cheep trims. The trim is Maya Road. The chipboard letters are from my chipboard drawer (so, no telling).

Here is the handle of the fork. I just love polka dots. BTW the story of how Polka Dots came about is really interesting you should check it out some time. I just love this bling. It was a wonderful investment.

Here is the back of the fork though in this context it is actually the bottom of my project.

Here you can see the Tines of the fork have been curled to help hold the decorations and to provide a pleasing view. :)  BTW embroidery floss works really well on these mini spools.
So, the next time you see a fork for free or close to please pick it and consider giving it a beautiful new lease on life.
Till next time happy crafty!!
